Title: Effects of geometry and epoxy coating pattern on the stab-resistance of kevlar
Authors: Teng, Leslie Lik Chang.
Keywords: DRNTU::Engineering::Mechanical engineering
Issue Date: 2012
Abstract: Flat surface Kevlar provides inefficient protection against stabbing assault. Hence, epoxy is used to glue the fiber strands together. However, multiple layers of epoxy coated Kevlar can be too heavy and does not offer cushioning to the impact force.
