Sound Localization is a method that allows one to identify the direction of a sound source. Robots with visual sensor are able to detect objects in front of them but are unable to detect non-visual event such as sound. Without sound localization, the robot will not be able to recognize who is talking but only sees people standing in front of it when a group of people are talking in front of the robot.en_US
