Abstract: Electrets are dielectric materials that exhibit a quasi-permanent electric field, which can be used in electrostatic energy harvesting devices. In a particular research done, LDPE charged for 2.5 hours under heat treatment of 60°C was found to be the most stable. Hence electrets and material properties were studied to explain this stability.
