Abstract: The classical Fourier’s law of heat conduction has been used widely for all analyzes of heat transfer by following an assumption of heat transfer. However, the validity of this assumption only holds for most conventional applications, such as macro-scale devices. This is because, this assumption has found to be rather inadequate to applications developed after 1950s.
