Abstract: There is currently no doubt that shipping industry is moving towards cleaner fuel alternatives given the enforcement of strict emissions limits set forth by IMO. With emission contents well below the emissions limits, LNG proves to be a very viable alternative to traditional HFO which is used mainly as fuel source for ships currently in the market.
