Abstract: An experimental investigation has been carried out to study the effects of distributed radial blowing around a free primary circular jet using hot-wire anemometry. Two types of configuration, one of which being four radial jets, two at each opposing sides blowing radially towards the main jet and the other configuration of four radial jets, positioned 90 degrees apart blowing radially towards the main jet, were investigated.
