Title: Development of interactive software (deflection of beams)
Authors: Bok, Chian Check.
Keywords: DRNTU::Engineering::Mechanical engineering
Issue Date: 2012
Abstract: The objective of this project is to develop an interactive teaching and learning software that is able to simulate and analyse beam deflection for education purposes. The software would be able to assist users in teaching or learning the concepts and calculations of beam deflections. The software has been designed to be easy to learn and use, with clear and simple navigation and interface. The program is meant specifically for second year Mechanical Engineering students at Nanyang Technological University, but it has been design to be useable by anyone with basic understanding of beam deflections.
