Report on industrial attachment with Soxal Pte Ltd.

Abstract

This report summarizes the working experience of the student during her participation in the 22 weeks International Internship Programme 2010 (IIP) with the Air Liquide group in France and Singapore Oxygen Air Liquide (SOXAL) in Singapore. It describes 2 of the projects undertaken during her attachment. The project done at Air Liquide in France was the investigation of failures of brass which covered a span of 2 months. At SOXAL, the 4 projects completed were the classification of valves used at the J1 plant, evaluation of efficiency of filling and transfer, investigation on the maximum production of cylinder filling and the study on safety of cylinder filling and testing. These projects were completed in the later span of 4 months.
