Authors: Kong, James Chun Leong.
Keywords: DRNTU::Engineering::Computer science and engineering::Software::Operating systems
Issue Date: 2012
Abstract: The traditional method of searching in search engines is using keyword search. The motivation of this project is the empower the users to perform better searches by translating their input into SQL queries, which constraints and range query could be included. This project draws the idea of how databases are visualised by developers 5 using Entity5Relationship (ER) diagram. This project aims to translate an ER to an interface easily understandable by end users. This project implementation focuses on Apple iOS, and specifically on the iPad device. The implementation of the iPad application also includes the usage of technologies like XML and SQLite.
