Abstract: The purpose of this report is to present the design of Ultra Wideband Dual Polarized Horn Antenna of operating frequency range from 0.8 GHz to 26.5 GHz. The report describes flow and process of carrying out the project, which includes the design procedure, software simulation and the testing of the antenna. The basic antenna parameters are presented to give reader a better understanding of antenna performance. Next design procedure is done with reference from one of the journal paper. Several journal papers are studied to understand how other go about designing their horn antenna. Subsequently, dimension obtain were model and constructed on Ansoft High Frequency Structure Simulator (HFSS version 13). Results were monitored and dimensions were fined tuned to obtain the desired result. After which the antenna was fabricated and test results obtained to confirm the results from software simulation. The testing of the antenna will be conducted in a lab and anechoic chamber. Recommendation of improving the antenna or antenna design process will be included in the report.
