Abstract: This report presents complete development cycle of a GPS rawdata signal and software-defined GPS receiver based on Matlab programming language. It starts from describing GPS system and its components, followed by detailed structure of the rawdata and implementation of the GPS receiver software. Subsequently, it goes through conducted experiments to investigate impacts on the receiver outcome caused by signal parameters. Implementation stages of the whole system: 1. Construction of the C/A code 2. Navigation data generation 3. Complete rawdata creation 4. Implementation of the signal acquisition 5. Implementation of the signal tracking
