Carbon nanotubes are ideal as a filler choice as they have good mechanical properties and high aspect ratio, which is suitable for manufacturing nanocomposite with high strength. With relation to the shoe industry, a type of polymer known as polyurethane was reacted with carbon nanotubes to investigate the effects on the mechanical and thermal properties, as these are factors considered for shoe design.
