|Title:||Trip and parking generation of major land use developments||Authors:||Fan, Henry Shing Leung

|Keywords:||DRNTU::Engineering::Civil engineering::Transportation||Issue Date:||2006||Abstract:||The study re-affirms the findings of past research that well-defined patterns of trip and parking generation can be identified for different land use developments. Significant variations in traffic and parking demand were found to exist within the land use category and within developments of similar size. Traffic and parking demand generated by office and retail developments were found to be strongly related to floor areas of the development. Traffic and parking demand at industrial sites were also correlated with the number of employees, in addition to floor areas.||URI:||http://hdl.handle.net/10356/5199||Rights:||Nanyang Technological University||Fulltext Permission:||restricted||Fulltext Availability:||With Fulltext|
