The report begins with the background information of LEGO MINDSTORM and how the idea came about with reference to other LEGO MINDSTORM projects. One such example is the Sudoku solver. The project was done by a group of three members and this report will focus on the parts I was delegated namely, the Java programming for the Bluetooth wireless communications on the LEGO MINDSTORM and the laptop, the robot's word bank to enable the robot to select a word randomly and lastly the algorithms for positioning the letters that has multiple occurrences in the word. The physical building of the robot, writing of the 26 characters and the PC's program GUI were done by the other 2 members. These two parts will be mentioned briefly in this report to provide a more complete picture of the whole project. | URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/10356/52037 | Schools: | School of Computer Engineering | Rights: | Nanyang Technological University | Fulltext Permission: | restricted | Fulltext Availability: | With Fulltext |
