Whenever, it comes to Line-following robots people would think of a robot following white lines with black background or the black lines with white background. It is common to have such ideas as numerous competitions use the black and white line designs. This report provides the necessary information to support that Line-following is not necessary done with lines that are white and black. This report, explores the possibility of using colour for the line design and some of the issues that using a LCD screen could give risk to. Base on the factor mentions, the implementations test done will discuss the following issue; getting the possible colour that can be used, the different type of line, the algorithm use and the modification done to the hardware to enhance the mobility. The experimental results are obtained base on the prototype developed. It is concluded that the algorithm created is efficient to execute on the various lines configuration presented. Future enhancements on the mobility of the mobile robot are also discussed.en_US
