Issue Date: 2002
Abstract: The reported research focus on the investigation of construction effects on the load transfer behaviour along bored piles in the residual soil of the Jurong Formation in Singapore. Extensive laboratory and in-situ tests were carried out to characterize the residual soil and to investigate the construction effect on the soil properties, particularly from soaking.
