Long Distance started out with a product design trajectory, working with the idea of creating a communicative piece addressing the common issues faced in LDRs (Long Distance Relationships), and encouraging people to strive towards making things work. Ideas were borne from personal experiences as well as fi rst hand accounts from close friends engaged in LDRs, but all the ideas for these products involved using technology in the recreation of a person’s “presence”. Unfortunately, technology has an inherent “coldness” that would constantly hinder the product ideas from ever truly overcoming the lack of intimacy that couples faced. Long Distance then evolved into a songwriting with a music video production, using YouTube and other social media as a platform to spread the message to long-distance couples all over the world, and the in uence of music on people’s lives, in an attempt to make a little di erence to the millions of people engaged in long distance relationships all over the world. I believe long distance relationships can work, if you just go at it one step at a time.en_US
