Title: Review of carbon nanomaterials fabrication, characterizations and potential applications
Authors: Chen, Xipeng.
Keywords: DRNTU::Engineering::Materials::Nanostructured materials
Issue Date: 2013
Abstract: The objective of this review is to provide a broad overview of developments in the field of carbon nanomaterials, with extra emphasis on carbon thin films. Literature from the last decade is reviewed and included and divided into the area of focus, processes, precursor materials and potential applications. The process of converting thin films of thermosetting high temperature polymeric resins is highlighted as a very powerful tool in shaping various types of films with a view to the end product of carbonization.
