Smartphones are changing the way we spend time, organize lives and connect with people. They are becoming more and more popular because of the wide variety of available mobile applications. Mobile apps development business is booming today, with hundreds new apps come out every day. The purpose of this project is to develop an Android application called DealsInterest to provide a platform for secondhand sale information sharing. It compasses key features of e-commerce, information sharing and social networking applications. It allows sellers to post secondhand item information in simple steps. It also allows buyers to browse or search to find item they are interested in. Besides, one is able to follow other users to keep track of their updates. This project is a combination with another web application project. The two applications are independent but have same functionality and share the same data. This makes DealsInterest has a wider group of target users. The application is successfully implemented on Android platform at the end with functionalities stated above. | URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/10356/52568 | Schools: | School of Computer Engineering | Rights: | Nanyang Technological University | Fulltext Permission: | restricted | Fulltext Availability: | With Fulltext |
