Group support system and decision conferencing : conflict management and task differences.

Abstract

In this study, our main concern is to find out the effects of conflict on the three environments, mainly GSS, DC and the Manual environment. Besides, we will attempt to find out which type of tasks are more suitable in each of the environment. Much research has been done in the past few years on Group Decision Support System (GDSS). However, most of these studies only focused on two different levels of GDSS and so our study will take an initial step in the comparison among the three environments.
