Abstract: This report records the work done so far on the research and development of the proposed Thermally Actuated Micro-gripper with Force Sensing Abilities. During the courses of this project, it was found that most of the current micro-grippers proposed by other research institutions are only capable of achieving small opening of the gripper tips.
