Abstract: For the last few years, the international business community has shown a great deal of interest in the rapid development of Asia. This has led many to name this century the ‘Asia-Pacific Century’. To further propel the growth of Asia, many Asian economies have resorted to a number of regional groupings. Of late, the one that has been generating the most interest is perhaps the Greater Mekong Sub-region (GMS) group.
