Abstract: Nowadays health problem has aroused people attention. The research shows that there is an increasing demand for the health monitoring device as people become more health cautious. For the elderly, the health monitoring and evaluate by a doctor will become the essential part in order to identify and address a medical problem early. But in the mean time, they also face some related health monitoring issues, such as time consuming for checking up in clinic, being unable to schedule regular appointments due to busy lifestyles and inconvenient to visit clinic and so on. Thus, a system needs to be developed for solving these problems. The objective of this final year project is to develop a Telehealth System for elderly care. This system should have the capable to retrieve the vital signs measured results from elderly using the health monitoring devices and display in the portable devices, upload the measured results to server database for storage, notify the doctor the present of new data and access the data by doctor via internet website. The system is divided into GUI Application and Health Record Application. In this Telehealth system, Blood Pressure Monitor is used as health monitoring device to measure users’ health data, Android Tablet is used as commercial portable device to run the GUI Application and Amazon Dynamodb is used as server database to store users’ health data.
