Abstract: Scientific studies had shown that TiO2’s photocatalytic properties can be used to purify air and water. In this project, TiO2 and carbon composite materials will be made for photocatalytic application (water purification). TiO2 will be coated using a sol-gel method onto graphene substrates. TCVD method will be used for carbon substrate fabrication. The fabricated samples will then be used on photocatalysis activity; here water purification under UV radiation will be used. SEM and Raman spectroscopy will be the main tools used to examine the sample. UV-Vis spectrometer will also be applied for photocatalysis checking.
