This report discusses the software testing of a software package aimed at automating the administrative tasks carried out in a specialist Medical Clinic. Formal test cases and scenarios are formulated for the verification and validation of the various functionalities in meeting the software requirements. The software testing methods used are Black box testing and Scenario Testing which test functional and non-functional characteristics of the application without referring to the internal code of the software. The entire software testing procedure are based as close as possible on the IEE 829 – 2008 2008 Standard for Software and System Test Documentation with test cases and test results documented in a neat and concise manner. Software bugs and problems found during the software testing are highlighted with applicable solutions or improvements at the end of the report.en_US
