Title: Spatial modulation for multiple – antenna wireless systems
Authors: Cheong, Choon Chye.
Keywords: DRNTU::Engineering::Electrical and electronic engineering::Wireless communication systems
Issue Date: 2013
Abstract: Multiple – Input – Multiple – Output (MIMO) systems is a broad subject which have been studied and researched intensively in the recent literature to accommodate the increasing demand of current and future wireless communication systems. As such, this report seeks to investigate a new MIMO modulation technique, known as, Spatial Modulation, which exploits the benefits of MIMO systems without increasing the complexity and the cost of implementation. This Final Year Project aims to investigate the systems’ performance of deploying the proposed technique under different channel conditions and the number of transmit – receive antennas.
