Title: Image segmentation and its applications in experimental mechanics
Authors: Wang, Jun.
Keywords: DRNTU::Engineering::Computer science and engineering::Computing methodologies::Image processing and computer vision
Issue Date: 2002
Abstract: Computer aided processing of fringe patterns are vital to extract meaningful information in photomechanics (optical techniques in engineering mechanics). Tremendous effort and resources have been put into this over the years and the techniques such as phase shifting and Fourier Transform methods have evolved as workhorses for fringe processing.
