Abstract: High performance (La, Sr)(Co, Fe)03 (LSCF) cathodes were fabricated by using ion impregnation method, and investigated by using electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) for the electrochemical performance and microstructure. The aim is to get a fundamental understanding of the factors influencing the electrochemical properties of LSCF electrodes, and consequently to optimize the conventional LSCF-based cathodes for the application in the intermediate temperature solid oxide fuel cells.
