Abstract: 本研究以1990年代至今,三个在马华青年音乐创作场域出现的不同音乐创作组组织 “北马各工作坊交 站”、 “黄火” “动态度”作为研究对象,检视它们所分别形成的“主流”、“反抗” “超 ”三种代表姿态如何带动青少年以音乐发声,以 此探讨马来西亚华裔青年群体如何通过音乐创作场域作为发声据地,并以何种位置、采取何种姿态再现对社会、家国 群体身份的认同;在这过程中,又如何与所处的社会脉络 位置产生互动,爬梳青年身份认同-音乐创作-社会位置三者的关。 The major objective of the dissertation is to discuss the Malaysian Chinese youth’s attempt to ‘voice out’ themselves, using Popular Music as a tool. Three major popular music composer groups which exist from the 1990s until present, named ‘Northern Group of Composer’,, 'Huang Huo', and 'Dongtaidu' are selected as the focused subject in the study. The study will analyze and discuss how these groups represent different positions and musical production ideology as ‘mainstream', ‘resistance’, ,‘cross over’ respectively, showing the place and identity of Malaysian Chinese youth in the specific social and political context of Malaysia.
