Abstract: Flows over single and to multiple two-dimensional (2D) circular cylinders at different sets of Reynolds number at 50, 100, 200, 400, 600, 800 and 1000 were analyzed. Gambit and FLUENT software were used to develop the model in order to run a series of simulation and computation of results for the analysis. Three case studies were done. They are namely Case Study 1 with flow across one cylinder, Case Study 2 with flow across two cylinders and Case Study 3 with flow across three cylinders. In each scenario, different sets of Reynolds number were used in the simulation to obtain various patterns of vorticity and flow profile of lift and drag coefficient. Among all results obtained from the simulation, Reynolds numbers 50, 400 and 1000 were compared and observed in each scenario.
