Abstract: Researches have been done on complex systems intensively for a decade however most studies on the single, non-correlating network [7]. Recent studies [9-13] have shown the significance of preventing cascading failures in interdependent systems. The research on the topic can be continued. Relevant knowledge and existing findings have been studied. Computer simulations have been conducted on interdependent networks. Methods of improving robustness of the networks have been studied. By improving the robustness of the networks, it is possible to prevent cascading failures. The methods which can be applied have been summarized. Some recommendations in future work have been given.
