Abstract: In this project, the author basically aims to use 5 sensor nodes and one base station to form a wireless sensor network for the pollutant monitoring. In this wireless sensor network, each sensor node consists of four sensors, one series sensor board and one wireless module. The function of each sensor node is to detect the temperature and the concentration of carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, methane, as well as ammonia. Finally, the author would analyze the measurements of the temperature to plot a graph of temperature.
