dc.description.abstractDigital beamforming is a marriage between digital technology and antenna technology. It plays an important role in the modern radio communication system. This report is intended to serve an introduction of digital beamforming techniques using antenna array sensors. An antenna array system has advantages for providing flexible, and configurable beam patterns. Nowadays, with the growing importance of digital beamforming system, the investigation and study of the system can be operated in computers. In this project, the author proposes and develops different methods to investigate the simulation of digital beamforming. Applications of two techniques including conventional beamforming and adaptive beanforming are covered in this report. The considerations will focus on the effect of array parameters; convention beamfoming performances; adaptive beamforming performances and comparison of different methodologies. The report will further discuss the design procedure, implementation details and results of the software simulation for the digital beamforming using array sensors.en_US
