Title: Learning automations in game engine

Abstract: This report describes author’s efforts and achievements during his one-year Final Year Project. There are two main objectives for this project. First, design and develop a server-client software version of Beer Game using Java. Second, develop a software entity (AI agent) in the Beer Game software utilizing Memetic approach. Programming wise, Java has been used to develop the Beer Game Software. Algorithm wise, AI agent has been developed and the performance has been tested. This report is organized as follows. Chapter 1 provides an introduction of this project’s background, motivations and plan and Chapter 2 summarizes the relevant literature review that has been done. In Chapter 3, the process of software programming is introduced and the implementation of AI agents is discussed in Chapter 4. Finally, in Chapter 5, this report is concluded and recommendations are provided.
