Abstract: Due to the rapid changes and advancement in technology, there is an increase in electronics devices and other portable appliances that must be supplied by DC power. Therefore, DC network distribution will be essential in classrooms, offices, homes, lecture halls, shopping malls, meeting rooms, cars and many more. At the same time, it provides a more economical and ecologically friendly environment. The aim of this project is to implement a local area DC supply network for future classrooms and to show its workability as well as its practicality in real scenarios. Planning and designing of circuits, cable calculations, voltage drop calculations, determine of efficiencies, problem faced, remedies as well as future implementation will be discussed in detail in the report.
