Abstract: In academic system, Fourier Transform was taught with limited visual aids, such as plotting of the graph in both domains, which can be complicated in visualizing. In order to simplify the understanding of Fourier Transform the right methodologies in teaching can be applied. The project was proposed to implement a teaching aid toolbox that can graphically demonstrate Fourier transform on various symbolic and numerical signals and how Fourier transform connects the signal in time domain and frequency domain. The project aims to create a user interface to perform the Fourier Transform via Matlab-Graphical User Interface (GUI). The implementation of the toolbox consists of three stages, preparation and analysis of Fourier Transform, designing of the GUI and coding, and lastly the testing of the toolbox.
