Title: Design and development of a device for precision machining
Authors: Yang, Han Bing
Keywords: DRNTU::Engineering::Mechanical engineering::Bio-mechatronics
Issue Date: 2003
Abstract: This project aims to design and fabricate a device able to add controlled micro vibration to the work-piece for analyzing the vibration effect on the grinding process. Various authors and experiments have demonstrated that the grinding process and the ground surface quality can be improved if a micro vibration is introduced to either the work-piece or the grinding wheel in the grinding process.
