Issue Date: 2013
Abstract: This project presents an approach to NTU cummuters with an informative system to guide them around the campus if they are lost. The proposed system allow them to arrive the destination easily by shortest walking path from one place to another place. and proposed methods were optimized. Main purpose of this project included enhancing of the existing system that NTU has provided. Studied of existing NTU campus map was carried out and route patterns were retrieved to be the essential data for this project’s information. This project included work done in the field of software development. System prototype with search capability, user-friendly features and maintenance capabilities was designed and implemented. Furthermore, search alogirthm applied in the system to achieve shortest path. The system applied System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to ensure system process was achieved in every stage. Knowledge on data algorithms, C# programming and database management is essential for the system implementation as well as and integration of web-hosting and data mining. With proper software architecture design, all desired methods were implemented properly. With proper software architecture design, all desired methods were implemented properly. Testing of the system prototype was conducted to evaluate its capability, reliability and other design criteria.
