Title: Thermographic and ultrasonic detection of subsurface defect in honeycomb composite
Authors: Yeo, Chai Meng.
Keywords: DRNTU::Engineering::Materials::Composite materials
Issue Date: 2003
Abstract: This report presents the experimental results of using NDT techniques, Lock-in Thermography and Ultrasonic C-scan to detect subsurface defects in impact damaged fiber reinforced composite sandwich panels. The specimens used in this project were made from ten layers of Fibredux 913 C-XAS carbon fiber laminae for the face sheet and Aeroweb Nomex honeycomb core.
