Abstract: This project is aimed at assessing the viability of the use of magnetic levitation in the field of vertical axis wind turbines. This has been achieved through the construction of a prototype model. This report details relevant background theory, the hardware design and construction of the prototype model and an analysis of data gathered from testing the prototype.
