Title: Literature survey of power system reliability assessment
Authors: Liu, Boliang.
Keywords: DRNTU::Engineering::Electrical and electronic engineering::Power electronics
Issue Date: 2012
Abstract: This paper presents a literature survey on the subject of power system reliability evaluation. Papers in such areas as probabilistic load flow, power system transient stability evaluation have not been included except when they specifically address power system reliability evaluation. Monte Carlo simulation methods, analytical methods, and other developed methods are covered under the survey. The objective is to list all technical papers that have been published since 1990 to determine the reliability of customer load points. All the papers listed are divided into three categories: traditional power system reliability evaluation techniques, reliability evaluation of power systems integrated with wind power and other renewable energy sources and reliability evaluation of deregulated power systems.
