Title: SCADA system for smart hybrid DC-AC grid system

Abstract: This report focuses on three parts of a smart AC-DC hybrid grid system. The first part presents the communication system of the grid, where the connection of RTUs, gateways and relays are shown. The second part presents the logic program of the Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) used in the SCADA system. Block functions of the various block blocks used in the PLC program are presented. The variables used and the registers assigned for reading the input data are also presented. The third part shows the Graphical User Interface (GUI) of the SCADA system designed to monitor and control the smart hybrid grid. The GUI was developed using Vijeo Citect.
