Abstract: In summary, this thesis addresses the software simulation, device fabrication and characterization of Si solar cell with nanohole textured surface. The work done will offer opportunities or approaches to further improve the device performance, especially for thin film PV applications. A comprehensive study of the well-established NH fabrication process and its advantages leads to a new technique producing Si NH thin film solar cells.
