Abstract: Over the recent years, China has proved to be a favourite investment destination for Singapore companies. It is of great interest to uncover the factors that companies consider as being important to the successful competitive performance for their organisation in China. Therefore, this report focuses on the study of different critical success factors for companies that have expanded to China or are thinking about extending their operations to China in the near future. Since the company’s critical business environment is in China, therefore this study also tries to examine the different factors for the companies in the context of China as well as the industry in which the company belongs.
