Title: | Interfacial Zener-Stroh crack problems in multi-layered structures | Authors: | Zhao, Junfeng. | Keywords: | DRNTU::Engineering::Mechanical engineering::Mechanics and dynamics | Issue Date: | 2004 | Abstract: | In our current research, problems on a Zener-Stroh crack initiated at the interface of various multi-layered structures are analyzed in the context of linear elastic fracture mechanics. The solution of each of the problems begins with the derivation of the stress field due to an interfacial dislocation in the relevant multi-layered structures. The obtained stress fields are then used as Green function solutions to simulate corresponding Zener-Stroh crack with the aid of the distributed dislocation technique. | URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/10356/5549 | Schools: | School of Mechanical and Production Engineering | Rights: | Nanyang Technological University | Fulltext Permission: | restricted | Fulltext Availability: | With Fulltext |
