Abstract: Human asialoglycoprotein receptor (ASGPR) is also known as hepatic lectin integral membrane protein, which is responsible for the clearance of desialyl galactose-terminal glycoproteins from the circulation by receptor-mediated endocytosis. Studies have shown that the main interaction of hepatocytes with engineered scaffold is the recognition between this receptor and galactose ligands. Using the HyperChem Computational Chemistry program, the energy between the ASGPR and the galactose ligand is obtained.
