Title: The automatic classfication of temporomandibular joint (TMJ) sounds using features in the time-frequency domain
Authors: Ang, Beng Keong
Keywords: DRNTU::Engineering::Bioengineering
Issue Date: 2000
Abstract: This project shows how an objective analysis of the TMJ sounds recorded from the microphone placed in the auditory tract can be achieved using the Time-Frequency (T-F) approach and, in particular, the Reduced Interference Distribution (RID). The theory of the T-F analysis is presented and choice of the Binomial kernel was discussed.
