Title: Zeolite core-shell micro-composites: synthesis and their applications.
Authors: Md Easir Arafat Khan
Keywords: DRNTU::Engineering::Chemical engineering::Biochemical engineering
Issue Date: 2011
Abstract: The research work presented in this thesis focuses on synthesizing of zeolite core-shell micro structure materials and on exploring their potential applications as micro-membrane reactors or adsorbents. Owing to the unique properties of zeolite molecular sieve, the core-shell materials have attracted great interest as shape selective catalyst or adsorbent materials in the chemical and petrochemical industries. The work has successfully demonstrated a common synthetic route for the fabrication of the core-shell structured materials via self-assembly process.
