Abstract: Internet has been said by many as the buzzword of 1996. In Singapore, more people are getting themselves an account either to serve the World Wide Web, to stay in touch with their friends using Electronic Mail or get to know new ones through the Internet Relay Chat. With the Internet they could also download the latest software as well as to discuss politics with anyone else from possibly any comer of the globe. With so much interest generated, Internet Service Providers in Singapore saw their subscriber base increase by leaps and bounds. So how should the ISPs go about in attracting those interested to sign up with them? And what service should they provide so to keep their current subscribers with them? As for the subscribers, what are the attributes they look at before they decide to sign up with an ISP? Price? Or the number of contest an ISP offers? These are the questions that we will be trying to answer in the research project.
