Abstract: The implementation of the Electronic Road Pricing (ERP) System in late 1997 is another chapter in the history of traffic management control measures employed in Singapore. As Singapore will be the first country in the world to use such a system, many around the world would be keenly observing the success of the system. This report serves to study the potential effects that the ERP System might have, with emphasis on its impact on road users and the automobile industry.
